Reflections
Reflections in the window pane // Ghosts of joy, shadows of pain // Rolling past the years I knew // In this train, I ride with you // Not beside, but in my mind // Where time and memory intertwine

Heavy Luggage
Heavy luggage, hearts in tow // Memories I can’t let go // Rolling through the years I’ve known // On this train, I ride alone // Weight of words I never said // Echoes dancing in my head

Up And Down
Up and down, like hearts that sway // Some days lost, some find their way // Through the noise and silent ground // I keep riding up and down // Not alone, but not quite seen // In between what might have been

Waiting
Waiting - in the static storm // Holding on to what was torn // Time won’t bleed, it only grinds // Through the gears of fractured minds // Waiting - like a loaded scream // Buried deep beneath the steam

Dry Red Wine
Dry red wine, in a plastic glass // Tastes like truth I can’t get past // Bittersweet and slightly bold // Like the stories I never told // Dry red wine, on a moving train // Washing down my quiet pain // I’m not broken, just confined // To the silence in my mind

The Elbow
Invisible, I ride the line // Between the noise and what is mine // A whisper in the carriage air // A soul that no one knows is there

Standing Still
Standing still, while the world rolls on // Like a verse in someone else's song // I’ve got dreams I never named // And a ticket that’s still unclaimed // Standing still, in the station light // Hoping wrong might turn to right

Arrival
Arrival - not a grand parade // Just a moment softly made // No fanfare, no neon light // Just the feeling that I’m right // Where I should be, where I belong // In the silence after song
